Advanced: Cocoa Coq au Vin

This particular coq au vin recipe — also known as chicken with wine — is even more special than usual. The secret here is the addition of cocoa nibs, cocoa powder, and dark chocolate, which add a hint of tannic, bitter, and roasted flavor to the red wine sauce. The dish takes a few hours to make, but the result is a chicken that falls off the bones.
