She's so adorable and the best thing is you don't get sick of her, because unlike Tom and Katie, and Brad and Ange she's not splashed over everything so when you do see her its kind of like oh wow look how shes changed and how big shes getting etc.

Wow - lickety split - love your post! I can just hear the conversation with Violet and a friend down the road like "you mean you don't have those guy's with camera's who always walk backwards, following you around?"

kids this age don't know any different that what they live. they have no "theory of mind" at this age, can't put themselves in other peoples shoes or imagine what others are experiencing. at some point (probably between 4 and 4 1/2) she will be with be talking with a friend and it will come up that the friends parents are never on the cover of magazines or on tv that they don't have body guards traveling with them, and THEN violet will start her journey to see how she fits into the world and what makes her and her family unique and how they are they same. every typically developing child goes through this, it's the start of empathy and developing independence.
