I don't know about beautiful family...Ben is seldom affectionate with his wife. I think he married her out of rebound of his love for JLO. And if it is the case, it is sad because Jennifer seems like a hell of a good girl. On the other hand, his friend Matt seems to be more into his wife. (Just my opinion people so don't go crazy on me)

I doubt it -it was Ben who wanted out of the JLo relationship-that's why it was he, not her, that called off their wedding. This Jen is much more compatible with him. Can you imagine JLo surfing with him? I think they are a beautiful family, IMO.

I agree mimi! This is a beautiful family, just being normal! Ben is the one who left her, as evidenced by their note to the paparazzi calling off their wedding...since none of the sentences ended with JLo's signature "you know what I mean?" lines.

i agree ben never seems very affectionate- but maybe he was just so put off by the first bennifer thing that he tries not to act like anything in front of them. who knows.

I'm sure Ben is very into Jen... do you not know the type of gifts Ben showers for Jen, Mguz? I think ppl read into things too much... I think they (and Matt's) are one of the down to earth families in Hollywood

I also think that Ben really does love Jen. He probably learned his lesson with the J-Lo fiasco and keeps thing low-key and private. Besides, do we really want to see Ben's tongue down Jen's throat while they're out strolling with Violet?

I like how they aren't overly affectionate,. I think they both just get tired of photogs hounding them. Jen will smile every now and then, but you can tell from many of these pics neither were happy. I think if Violet weren't with them, it might be different, but knowing the type of parents they seems to be, they don't want cameras in her face all the time.

I agree and it's impossible for us to know the real story as to why he's walking so much ahead of her and the lack of affection. He has always been kind of like this, I think he got sick of the paparazzi with him and JLo so he goes out of his way to not smile for them.

Yeah, I think Ben and (Jen)just doesn't wanna give to paps what they want, which is usually, the kissing pictures and stuff like that.

they are normal people, i walk like that with my husband, sometimes he walks ahead while i finish something in the car, it really isnt such a big deal. just because you dont see people on top of eachother outside it does not mean they are not into eachother. they dont need to be kissing or holding hands to be into eachother. i think they are perfect together they seem to match very well and for all you know maybe ben is not the type of a person who likes to show affection in public and besides why do they need to show the paps or the world how much inlove they are it is their business.

I think they are one of the cutest couples in Hollywood. I agree with SleepingSun - I don't they think care about the paps or what kind of shot they get - they are not the couple that will give the paps the opportunity! Good for them.

Ben never seems happy to me. He's always walking ahead and not really 'present' when their picture is taken. Don't they ever smile?
