Awwww. That's beautiful. I like it more than just tattooing the kid's name on your body a la Becks. And the coordinates over her old "Billy Bob" tattoo is great. It's the only one I didn't like. I like the "XIII" one she has, but I'm still a bit superstitious.

The script lines on her shoulder are a Buddhist Pali incantation written in Khmer, the native language of Cambodia. She got this tattoo to protect her son Maddox, from bad luck and avoid accidents. It reads: May your enemies run far away from you. If you acquire riches, may they remain yours always. Your beauty will be that of Apsara. (a celestial dancer in Khmer mythology) Wherever you may go, many will attend, serve and protect you, surrounding you on all sides.

What are those spikey ones all about? Does anyone know what they mean? I know the ones on her arm are the co-ordinates of her childresn's birthplace, but I don't know the ones on her back.
