On a break from recording that hit country album, Jessica Simpson was back in LA stopping off for sushi with a friend on Friday night. She wasn't, however, hopping right onto a plane again to watch her boyfriend Tony's playoff game. After Tony was eviscerated in the press for his trip to Mexico with his girlfriend (and, ahem, a few of his teammates) Jess stayed away.
