This week Bono joined fellow musicians Elton John and Paul McCartney in being named a Knight Commander of the British Empire. Unfortunately, because he's an Irish citizen he won't get the title of "sir." Luckily, he's already thought up a few good replacements, "You have permission to call me anything you want — except sir, all right?"
