Bridget and Tom broke up in December 2006...she gave birth in late August 2007. Do the math, they broke up when she was a month or less pregnant, they probably didn't even know yet. Everyone goes off on how he left her when she was pregnant, but Bridget herself has never even claimed that. As far as: "I think it's inappropriate for his new girlfriend to be with his baby. If they were married and had made a long-term commitment then it would be different." Well, Bridget and Tom weren't maried but they had a baby...so why does he have to marry Gisele in order to have a "long term commitment"? He and Gisele have been together for over a year...I hardly think that qualifies her as his "new girlfriend." They live together, which Bridget knows, so I'm sure she expected Gisele would be around the baby.

i think it's cool. gisele's just being grown-up about the whole thing, and if bridget is ok with gisele handling her baby then obviously so is she.

why is it inappropriate? they seem happy spending the day with the baby. cute :)

I think it's inappropriate for his new girlfriend to be with his baby. If they were married and had made a long-term commitment then it would be different.
