John Mayer's been doing his best to keep a low profile since his split with Jennifer Aniston, but on Saturday night he peeked out from under his hoodie, posing for the paparazzi with a friend after dinner at La Esquina in NYC. He still couldn't find it in him to flash a smile, but he did open up big time to the photographers about his breakup. Here are a few highlights of what John had to say:

1I used to like his music, but the more he talks the less I like it. He should just shut up and sing!
2I lost a lot of respect for Mayer when he started 'dating' jessica simpson. He proved to be as deep as a thimble. Then when he started 'dating' aniston, I lost the rest of any respect for him. He's way too full of himself, and aniston needs therapy in a big way. She's supersuper needy. She wants to have a baby? She won't give up the only thing going for her; her body. (which still isn't so great)
