Personally, for organizing books, I love a good book tower, with a small footprint.

The one with the rainbow seems a bit forced to me. Plus it would drive me mad if I was looking for something in particular. I'd rather organize by genre or alphabetical by author for easier use. But I guess if it's just simply a design element and not really books that one reads often, it might work.I like the idea of the Ikea shelf turned into a bench. I wonder what the weight capacity is for that shelf? If it's pretty sturdy, I might just steal the idea! :)
