Having grown out of its former 1,500-square-foot space, Aldea Home has relocated to a busy corner of Valencia Street in San Francisco. The new space spans three stories and 7,000 square feet and is filled with delightful staged room vignettes that are sure to inspire home decorating aficionados.
Aldea Home's mission is to "aspire to inspire" its customers, and with a mix of products that showcase green designers, local artisans, and bigger name design houses such as DwellStudio and Inhabit, it's nearly a given. I recently stopped into the new store to take a peek at the wares and to meet with Aldea Home storeowner Johanna Bialkin, interior designer Leslie Bamburg, and artistic director Deric Carner. Keep reading for a look at the new store, which reopens tomorrow, and if you're in San Francisco, stop into 980 Valencia Street to take a look for yourself.
