Bathroom Doubles as Laundry Space Poll

Does Your Bathroom Double as a Laundry Room?

In my house, our washer and dryer are tucked under a counter at the far end of the kitchen. I wish it were in another, more convenient space, such as the bathroom. While spaces that have to do double duty often struggle for a consistent design vision, this bathroom, featured in stylist Lotta Agaton's portfolio, certainly doesn't have that problem. I'd love to separate my whites and darks in a space this pretty, wouldn't you?

Our half bath is also the laundry room.

Yup. European homes don't have the luxury of space that you have in North America :(

No, thankfully. I prefer a separate space for the laundry appliances.

Nope, I have a separate room/closet off of the kitchen. I've been looking for a new apartment, and I've seen a few where they are in the bathroom, and I just don't like the look. I like having that separate room.

No, but it makes sense, as the there are water supply and drain pipes in the bathroom. Technically, the potential problem I see is if the washer shares the same supply and drain pipes with the shower and sink. Would there be problems with the supply of water, and the draining if someone is showering at the same time the washer is going?

I have a special laundry room, but it's comically small. It fits the washer and dryer which both have about a foot of space in front of them. You have to ease in sideways, and only if you're not overweight. Ugh.

Although I would not call it a room. My laundry area is in the garage. I would LOVE to have it close to the bedrooms! I am always lugging laundry one direction or another
