Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member tsharp25 from the Vintage Delight group: Every Summer, my family takes a trip out to Pismo Beach, and for the last couple years that has included getting up at 5 a.m. on Sunday morning to check out the San Luis Swap Meet. I've had some great luck in the vintage décor department, including a pair of brass owl bookends ($1), a milk glass lamp that my grandfather and I restored, and some retro, patterned suitcases. But this year takes the cake! I scored a 1960s style (not sure the actual year) salon chair with working hydraulics and a molded plastic seat for $20! The white vinyl cushion is in great condition and came with an orange and red flower-patterned fabric cover. These chairs were the closest match I could find to compare — not too shabby! I may decide to paint the orange base something more neutral, like black, just so it would fit in better with my living room's color scheme, but we'll see. Either way, it's a funky and unusual find that spices up my apartment!
