While traveling to Georgia to tour the 2012 HGTV Green Home, I was lucky enough to experience The Inn at Serenbe. Out of the 1,000 acres that make up the sustainable community of Serenbe, 30 of those acres are dedicated to organic and biodynamic farming. Nestled in the midst of lush farmland is a gorgeous inn, where friendly animals, aromatic flowers and vegetation, charming accommodations, and scrumptious organic country cooking ease you into the heavenly pace of country living. When I wasn't admiring the interiors of the marvelously restored farmhouse that I stayed in, I was wandering the grounds deciding between leisure activities like afternoon tea, croquet, hiking, swimming, hay riding, or simply bird and animal watching. Of course, I couldn't resist the urge to snap pictures incessantly on my phone, trying to capture the beauty that surrounded me. See which breathtaking spots I uncovered while wandering the inn's grounds. They just might inspire you to experience a farm adventure of your own!
