How to Decorate Based on Your Hogwarts House

One of the most magical moments of the Harry Potter series is during Harry's first night at Hogwarts when he is sorted into Gryffindor house. Using the ancient Sorting Hat (which senses its wearer's thoughts, ambitions, and personality to decide their rightful place within Hogwarts), every student at J.K. Rowling's school of witchcraft and wizardry is sorted into one of four magical houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin. Where do you belong? Whether you find out through Rowling's own Pottermore Sorting Hat quiz or simply perform some inner soul searching to determine your true Hogwarts home, the house with which you relate most strongly certainly says a lot about your personality.

Because each Hogwarts house is totally unique, it only makes sense that house members would have widely varied taste in home decor. Drawing on traits, colors, and famed members of the houses, we've compiled decor that perfectly suits students from each. Find out the ideal style for your magical personality here!
