Remember when I reported on the cool contest that Blu Dot featured last month? The Minneapolis-based company encouraged fans to swap a talent or collection for a piece of Blu Dot furniture. Artist Amy Rice answered the challenge by offering her fuzzy ball chair up for trade. The chair had originally been featured in a joint exhibition entitled Nest, that was a collaboration with artist Terrence Payne and Sotheby's real estate group. However, Amy was looking for something a little more streamlined for her studio space.
See what Amy traded her chair for!
Amy writes, "I entered the fuzzy ball chair into a swap contest with Blu Dot furniture and guess what? They went for it! Check out my awesome new stool I received in trade! Doesn't it look like origami? Isn't it perfect in my studio?" If you love Amy's stool, you can buy it from Blu Dot.
