Bunny Williams Launches Furniture Collection Beeline Home

Bunny Williams Launches Premiere Furniture Collection

Renowned New York-based interior designer Bunny Williams debuts her first furniture collection, Beeline Home, in shops across the country this month. The collection includes side tables, bedside tables, lamps, chairs, mirrors, coffee tables, and accessories. Each piece will be a part of a numbered, limited-edition run, and new collections will be introduced each year.

Williams's designs are equal parts traditional and modern. From curlicue armrests to architectural table legs, each boasts fresh and unique shapes that fit seamlessly into her gracious and timeless interiors. She says, "Pieces often work together not because they are alike but because they are different." It's really about time Williams added "furniture designer" to her résumé; she founded her design firm in 1988, after working for the venerable Parish-Hadley Associates (who decorated for Jackie Kennedy) for years. Two of her pieces — the Porter Drinks Table and the Garden Panel — have already sold out, and I have no doubt the collection will be a huge success. If you're interested in shopping the products, you can either find a store or order one directly from Beeline Home by phone or email. Here are a few of my favorites from the line.

I've never cared for Bunny Williams' designs. Too "old rich lady" for my taste. Way too dark and stuffy. You can see she hasn't bothered to update her style since Jackie's White House days.
