Casa Query: What's in Your Junk Drawer?

Casa Query: What's in Your Junk Drawer?

In nearly every home, a junk drawer is growing, luring refugee "stuff" to find solace there. It's unavoidable really; there are always some odds and ends with no place to go, and the junk drawer is the only haven for them. The trick is clear that junk drawer out frequently, and organize what's left into categories and containers. Regardless of whether it's organized, I know you have one. Admit it. So tell me, what's in your junk drawer?

i don't have a junk drawer. if you designate a place for everything, you won't need one. i find that's very important if you live in a small space.

actually, i don't have one. i have about 6 drawers in my desk which is in the living room/kitchen/dining room/office all-in-one area, and have an in-out tray that is on my desk where i put things to file but i usually clear that everyday or 2. when my roommie and i moved in together, 7 years ago, we decided to never have a junk drawer!

Mine is in the kitchen, and it contains batteries, old stamps that I can no longer use, random screws and nails, scissors, and oodles of instruction manuals for all of my nifty kitchen gadgets, just in case I need them one day.

Take out menus, batteries, tie downs for moving things, key covers, battery tester, I think a letter opener, screwdriver, and random random things. It kinda ends up as anything that is on the counter and we don't want to see anymore.
