If you never thought the cliché laundry joke about a red sock dying all of your clothes bubblegum pink would happen to you, you may one day be wrong. Everyone is bound to encounter bleeding colors at least once. Aside from laughing it off, and accessorizing with a pretty pink purse, there is something you can do to reclaim that favorite white top of yours. If you realize your colors have bled in the wash, the rule of thumb is do not dry them! Steer clear of the dryer, and toss your tainted clothes back into the washing machine, this time with your regular detergent and a color-safe detergent. That should do the trick. If it doesn't, a powdered-chemical color remover (i.e. Rit color remover) is worth a shot.
