Casa Quickie: Dandy Dish Soap

Transfer your dish soap from that ugly plastic bottle it comes in to a chic, olive-oil bottle. Rid your house of commercial labels! The olive-oil bottle lets the soap out at just the right speed — not too much, not too little. You can also save money by buying your dish soap in bulk at stores like Costco, Sam's Club, etc., and refilling the bottle as needed. You'll no longer need to hide your soap under the sink in this beauty. Although, next time I think I'll choose a soap that's not neon orange.

I use a "lotion dispenser." Here's a Su Casa post about it with a picture: http://teamsugar.com/group/429878/blog/889362

I like this idea, no commercialism in the home, we get enough of that elsewhere.

I actually did this and it looks and works great. The soap just pours right out, so there is no need to make sure the top is off. And since there are all different colors of soap you can either change the color with the season, or go with one that compliments your kitchen!
