Casa Quickie: Mason Jar Blossom Vases

Try It: Hanging Mason Jar Vases

In the midst of Spring, we can't help but want to make the most of seasonal blooms. If you're looking for a creative way that doesn't require a standard vase, put those beloved mason jars to use. An idea often seen at weddings, this simple DIY is perfect for dressing up your backyard or adding the final touch to an upcoming party. All it takes is wrapping wire under the lip of a mason jar, twisting it to itself. Then, with the same piece of wire, create a handle, fastening it to the wire under the lip of the jar. Fill the jar with water and style your favorite stems into an arrangement. Make several more and hang them from hooks or plant hangers throughout your yard. Suddenly, your garden is in full bloom!

I would love to hang these on the hooks I have in the balcony...but it would be a hassle to be bringing them down every now and then. I agree that candles would be very nice!
