Casa Quickie: Throwing In the Towels

Anthropologie at ShopStyle

Lucky enough to score some fluffy new towels for your bathing routine? Make sure to take extra care when washing them. After buying new towels, make sure to wash them separately. This is because most towels will run when first washed. After the first wash, they're usually fine, though, so separate by color and wash as normal.

agree on the Downy, but too much makes them less absorbent. Also, adding a cup of salt the 1st time you wash the towels (in hot water) helps set the color so they won't run or fade as much.
