Casa Quickie: Troubleshooting a Showerhead

Has your power shower turned into a dismal dribble? The showerhead could be clogged with mineral deposits. To remedy this problem, gently unscrew the shower head from the pipe and soak it overnight in vinegar. To reattach the showerhead, wrap it with Teflon tape around the pipe threads and turn the head back into place.

If you don't want to unscrew and subsequently re-tape it, you can just put the vinegar in a large plastic bag, dunk the showerhead into it, and tape it there overnight.

Great tip. I will definitely remember this next time I have a showerhead problem. Vinegar is quite the multitasker, isn't it?
