Casa Verde: Tin Can Plastic Lids

Northumbria University graduate Jack Bresnahan's biodegradable, plastic lids turn your used tin cans into household containers. Here, a basic can has become a vase, and other lids include a soap dispenser, sugar caster, tea and coffee canisters, toothbrush holder, money box, and desk organizer. While tin cans can be recycled, many are tossed irresponsibly and end up in a landfill. These products make us more mindful of how our possessions can be repurposed. Eventually, unlike the cans themselves, the lids won't need to be recycled but will biodegrade.
