This month, Elle Decor featured Courteney Cox's new Malibu home on its cover. Before pursuing a career in acting, in college, Courteney took courses geared for a path in architecture. Needless to say, she was very involved in the remodeling process. Her entire home reflects a laid-back vibe, but her bathroom really did it for me: part sleek master bath, part beckoning boudoir. Strong marble and oversize iron fixtures are balanced by crushed velvet furnishings upholstered in a surprising hue.
The Mimi Chair ($1,365) from Tonic Home really captures the spirit of Courteney's chair with its wooden feet and similarly curvaceous shell-shape. To bring her personal history to the space, Courteney framed a sketch her father drew in high school. I've rounded up some additional pieces that could bring this feel into your home.
