This chandelier, which has been part of the permanent collection of London's Victoria and Albert Museum for two decades, is dripping with Japanese glass pearls, Swarovski crystals, and glass and brass chains on an antique-brass base. Just what you'd expect from the woman (Karen Erickson) who coined the phrase "chandelier earring" in the 1980s. Even if I could afford it, I wouldn't have a place for this chandelier in my home. Yes, this piece is gaudy as heck, but not quite in a pretentious way. It's more of an art piece really, and needs to be displayed as such. Where in your home would you glam rock this chandelier?
