Decorating With Cloches

Cool Idea: Pint-Sized Cloches For Displaying Tiny Treasures

Cloches are such a lovely way to display a treasured object. But often, they are too large or unwieldy to use for our more diminutive treasured objects. When I spotted these miniature cloches at the Zuiderzee Museum's new exhibit, Industrious Artefacts: The Evolution of Crafts, a lightbulb went off in my head. While these cloches covered seeds, I could see them lined up on a floating wall shelf covering up favorite necklaces or sets of earrings.

Have you used pint-sized cloches to decorate a room of your home? How would you use them?

I have both large and small cloches that cover a few of the tin toys I have collected over the years in my living room. It makes them feel a bit more special and display-worthy that way.

I regularly see them on Amazon and Etsy. Try searching for "mini cloche" or similar search terms.
