Built around the idea that travelers want to live like a local but also stay someplace as beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed as a nice hotel, UK-based company onefinestay searches out beautiful homes that would otherwise be unoccupied and offers them up to travelers. Already a mainstay in London and New York, onefinestay is launching today in Los Angeles, and we got a first look at some of the properties that are going to have you running to book a flight to the city of angels stat!
Did we mention that all properties, including the Venice abode, above, offer toiletries by Kiehl's and iPhones stocked with local recommendations from the homeowners?
Onefinestay isn't just great for travelers. The service offers members (aka homeowners) marketing, paperwork, professional photography, insurance, and of course, housecleaning. In other words, they get to earn money without lifting a finger.
With more than two dozen homes in areas from Santa Monica to Hollywood and prices ranging from $250 to $2,000 per night, onefinestay is bound to become very popular, very quickly. “We have been deluged by interest in a Los Angeles launch and are particularly excited about building onefinestay there because it’s a place where local knowledge is the key to unlocking the best the city has to offer. Living like a local is the only way to experience LA,” says cofounder Greg Marsh.
