Nothing about eating at Ikea seems remotely appealing. gidigirl 6 years I guess its not my idea of a dining experience...Nothing about eating at Ikea seems remotely appealing. weffie 6 years No, not since I was a kid and my mom would buy our good behaviour with ice cream :) But now if I'm in Ikea and I have any $ to spare, I'm much more likely to choose a cute vase or kitchen accessory over food... by the time I pass the cafe on the way out, I'm usually broke! ThePerfectScore 6 years YES!! I love it! Especially breakfast... you can get full for under $5 bluesarahlou 6 years They have great meatballs. :) And I've had breakfast there too...not bad! bisou002 6 years I love eating there! :) bisou002 6 years I love eating there! :) bellaressa 6 years I've only had the soft serve cone. snowysakurasky 6 years yes its a really cheap way to 'eat out,' usually i just get the smoked salmon. the last time i got a veggie/cheese wrap veggies were old. but i used to like that too. i dont know what is in that pic but it looks like a plate of processed meat on the right?! gross.... i liked the froyo too but now stay away from that area as it stinks like hotdogs :( kia 6 years I suppose it is more of a treat for me. I lived in Miami for 3 years and the Ikea opened nearby a few months before I left. I have now lived in Colorado for a year and a half and there is talk of an Ikea opening next year. I am originally from LA and love hitting Ikea up when I am back that way. Akasha 6 years My Ikea has the cafeteria upstairs and another food stand downstairs. Depending on my shopping I will either stop for meatballs, or hit the food stand for cinnamon rolls on my way out. eastcoastgirl 6 years We don't have Ikea here eastcoastgirl 6 years We don't have Ikea here CoconutPie 6 years Almost always. I had breakfast there just yesterday morning. Eating out is so expensive here in Norway so when we go shopping at Ikea we normally enjoy a plate of meatballs or some reindeer since it's so cheap. GMarie 6 years We've never eaten there, because the store is always so crowded and hectic that by the time we're done shopping, we're just ready to GO HOME. danixk 6 years I'm a sucker for the icees and cinnamon rolls. Ruusu 6 years Yes! The promise of mashed potatoes and gravy (or "brown cream sauce"), with a large dollop of lingonberry jam on top, is an excuse enough for an Ikea excursion for me. Since I'm a vegetarian, I haven't, of course, sampled Ikea's meatballs. However, last week I hosted a Fenno-Scandinavian students' potluck, and someone brought boiled potatoes with Trader Joe's "meatless meatballs" (as well as regular meatballs), served with Ikea gravy, which is sold in individual packets. Yum! Kazagirl 6 years I use to work at Ikea when I was 17. We would get the food in the cafe for free if we worked that day. I loved the meatballs. limelindsey 6 years I do love the meatballs, but I almost always have an ice cream cone on my way out. There's just something really comforting about it, especially after battling the checkout lines! sugar_me_sweet 6 years I like the cinnamon buns. sugar_me_sweet 6 years I like the cinnamon buns. Kimpossible 6 years We don't have Ikea here. I've never been in one of their stores. I have ordered from online though. komler 6 years When I was a kid, we would often go there straight after my Dad came home from work, shop, and then eat in the middle of the shopping expedition. I always had the same thing, steak with pommes frites, slightly overdone broccoli and bernaise sauce. Lovely. I went past the restaurant at my local Ikea recently, and they'd taken it off the menu. I'm sure it is very new and modern cooking, but the memory part of it kind of made me not want to partake.
