I have a small one in my bedroom, since I'm allergic to my dogs. I took the first option, but really I'm not sure it works that well... Still, I like the white noise at night.

We had to get an air purifier for our bedroom when we had mildew problems. Right after that we found one in the In-Laws basement that we have been using.

I just vacuum & dust frequently, & that does the trick. My little kitty-kitty (Betty) has allergies like I do, and hers always improve whenever I've vacuumed. Awww...

I don't use one. They are actually quite bad for the environment. They essentially create ozone that lingers in enclosed spaces and is then released into the air outside. Ones that are HEPA are better, but make sure that the one you use isn't causing more harm than good!

I have one, and I do notice a difference when I use it- but my DH prefers to leave it off. (How is it supposed to help that way?!) :P

Yes because I suffer from allergies big time and because I have kitties even though I am allergic! It helps but only in tandem with shots, medication, etc.

We have one and it has made a huge difference for cat allergy sufferers who come to our house. It's absolutely worth it.

We have one, it's from my husband's bachelor days. I call it R2D2, because that's exactly what it looks like. Since it's so big and bulky, we don't use it very much, and I haven't felt much of a difference when have used it.

I have one but I don't use it. I have bad allergies and it did nothing.

We have a few in the bedroom because my bf has major allergies and it's sort of his haven from the dog. I can't say that I notice a difference, though.

^ I meant "I own one..." not I have own.

I have own and it helps. I deal with some major dust & pollen allergies (sinus headaches, stuffy nose, dry eyes AND watery eyes, ugh.) The air purifier helps relieve some of those issues.
