In all my Summers, I've usually either had a family house in the mountains or by the beach to escape to on the weekend, or I've been able to hop between the getaways of my friends all season. As nice as it is to have a second home, rental, or even a Summer share to visit when the weather gets hot, it's a lot of work to make it feel like home — and owning one means you're in for hosting duties, too. Tell me . . . do you have a Summer house? Or do you stay at your primary residence year-round?
