Do You Own a Digital Photo Frame?

Digital photo frames have replaced developed film in many homes. Some companies have even turned the geeky frames into decorative items themselves, such as Hannspree's Polar Bear frame. While digi frames offer more features such as slideshows, automatic reorientation, calendar, and clock displays, I think there's something to be said for choosing a single favorite photograph and giving it a permanent place behind glass. Do you own one?

I do, but I've never ever used it. If it looked like a polar bear I just might.

I don't actually own one but bought one for my mom 2 Christmases ago. Even though she's generally pretty low tech, she quite likes it:-)

I think they're rather ridiculous--it's like a screensaver that never ends. Why have one more thing that sucks up energy? If I want to look at a slideshow of my photos, I'll open up my laptop.

Not yet! When we move there will be two amateur photographers in residence and that means our walls will be cluttered beyond reason if we don't invest in a few digital frames. Certain special photos will still get the frame and glass treatment.

I'm not a fan of them whatsoever - I see the point in certain circumstances, like my grandmother has one in her nursing home so she can see hundreds of photos in her tiny little room, and show them to fellow old people who ask questions about her life, but in my house, no thanks!
