Do You Practice Feng Shui?

I personally don't know much about the ancient Chinese practice of feng shui, and I've always felt like there's too much to learn to get it right. But, I have friends who swear that it's improved their lives by sending them "positive Qi." Do you practice feng shui? Have you made an attempt? Do you think it's a hoax? What's your take?Source

I implemented some things here and there, but I think to do it properly it has to be a practitioner or at least somebody that knows a lot. For example, I set a Feng Shui vignette to the right of my entrance door about a year ago. I even got a new console table with the right color, few days ago I learnt that X's are bad and the legs of the console are two X's. Believe it or not for the past 10 months most things in my life took a downturn.

As a Feng Shui consultant, I've personally experienced tremendous benefits and seen so many of my clients get true results. I would be more than happy to help you with your space so that you too could experience Feng Shui. Just send me a note and we can talk further. My grandparents were Japanese-American, born in Hawaii and really believed in certain principles of feng shui....the sun should rise over your head and set at your feet, etc...I try to use those basic principles, but would like to become more involved in the future.

I read a great Feng Shui book by Lillian Lam and it has helped my understand and apply a lot of the concepts to my everyday life. I did use feng shui when looking for a new apartment and you would be surprised how powerful positive Qi can be in your life. I swear by it!

I did this not too long ago with my office. As I sit on my desk, my back faces the door and I've always felt uncomfortable about it so I looked up some information about it. It suggested that I place a mirror on the wall facing the door and a lush plant on the far left corner of the office for prosperity and positive flow. I did it. So far the mirror keeps me aware of whose walking towards my office.

Somehow, no matter how I try to understand feng shui, I can't seem to get it right. When I show my feng-shui friendsly home plans to anyone who would listen, they tell me it's all wrong! :P

I don't know enough about it, but I'd love to learn and utilize it in my home. I just don't really have the time to dedicate right now.

I read some books on it years ago and though I am not a "diehard" practitioner, some little things I adopted I actually still do to this day, such as never, ever storing things under the bed, and keeping clutter away as much as I can.
