It's fun when you both like the same things! ndc1 8 years My husband has no opinion. "Whatever you like is fine." So, I pick out things the kids and I enjoy - and if he doesn't like it...well, he had no opinion! (Actually, our tastes are very similar so I've never picked out anything he's gagged on.) anned 8 years I would say yes, but I think my mom actually wears the pants. she helps with purchases every once and a while, and has a better eye for style. for those reasons, I have to give it up! JaimeLeah526 8 years I wear the pants but I would never do anything my husband didn't like since we both have to live there. MamaD 8 years I'm passionate about decorating and kept an entire notebook of my plans for my new home before we even bought the property!!! I get an idea in my head andI can't stop until I achieve it! My husband has had his doubts in the past when I've told him of my paint color choices but once the colors are on the walls luckily he sees what my mindseye did all along! He trusts my judgement!!! emalove 8 years Yes! My husband pretty much lets me do what I like, he says I have "good taste" and he knows it will look nice. I always ask him what he thinks when I have an idea or a paint swatch to show him, etc., and he always says it's "nice". Haha. Typical guy response! We did renovate our basement together though and picked a Cape Cod/beach theme. It was fun decorating and painting together. It's nice to be married to someone so agreeable. Lemerne 8 years We are making our first home together, and we make all the desicions together! Luckily we seem to have approximately the same taste, so it's not too stressful for me! (i'd hate to live in a home i find ugly, wouldn't you? ^^) By, the way, Casa, you're of great help for our exciting decorating project, keep up the good work! My boyfriend and I don't split the cost of items in case we break up someday (we don't want to be fighting over who owns the couch), so I actually own most of the decorative stuff in the apartment. I usually do ask his opinion, but he likes most of the stuff I pick out. I'm not a floral, girly girl, so most of the decor is very unisex -- dark wood, clean lines and some quirky vintage touches. colieoats 8 years Uhm...I just have to start out by saying that the dude in the picture looks like a total NERD! The chick, however, looks really cute..love the sweater. When it comes to decorating my husband pretty much could care less...this is also the man who doesn't understand the difference between decorative pillows and pillows he can fold up and shove under his head. He throws in his two cents when it comes to the technology in our home, but other than that, it's all me. Gabriela14815884 8 years Its me for the most part but I like to have my husbands in put so that his style show thru as well. Lovely_1 8 years I'm the one who actally has to go out and buy the stuff, but when i think we need something I just tell my boyfriend and he either says yes or no or gives me another idea.I usually take him with me because it's just as much his house as mine and I think he has a right to have a say into what it looks like; and most of the time he is pretty darn good at it :) Lovely_1 8 years I'm the one who actally has to go out and buy the stuff, but when i think we need something I just tell my boyfriend and he either says yes or no or gives me another idea. I think I've done pretty well so far too! Twinkle1 8 years It's all me. That family includes a man who does not want to live around floral wallpaper, and frilly, girly stuff. Nor do I want to live in a frat house, beer bottle lined home. We've come to a traditionally boned with modern contempo decor. We try to stay decluttered but comfy furniture. We're cozy and utilitarian. Luckily, my husband is just as daring when it comes to trying out bold paint colors. Oh, and I get to be all out Lily Pulitzer girly in my daughters rooms for when I just need a feminine outlet.
