Last weekend, we had the joy of partnering with our buddies at Elle magazine (and their partner: Dolce & Gabbana’s new fragrance, The One). This annual late summer event, called the Elle 25, coincides with the corresponding issue in which the editorial team picks their 25 hot highlights of the Fall, including everything in pop culture from fashion, film, literature, theater, art, music, and television.
Often we are asked by magazine partners to bring their pages to life in the form of an event, and I have always found this to be an intriguing proposition. I have been obsessed with magazines since I could read, starting with Cricket as a kid and graduating to, well, all of them now as an adult – from business publications like Fast Company to the ever fascinating World of Interiors. Thus, I get really, really excited when I can create an event for a magazine brand because I have a legitimate business excuse to page through them during office hours.
