After falling in love with all the funky details and sweet pink accents of this Love - Seat II ($5,000), I have felt compelled to inject some burlap into my world. While that couch could make for quite the DIY project, with limited floor space and resources, I wanted to find some smaller pieces that could incorporate this fun, earthy trend into my home without making things too crowded.
In terms of a smaller seating option, I'm partial to the two textures of this Splayer Chair ($3,300) from Anthropologie. I could definitely picture it providing some comfortable warmth to an underutilized corner; I'd accent it with a small pink pillow to get a similar vibe to the original love seat. Another great aspect of this chair is that it's created from natural fibers and is an eco-friendly option for your home. I'm also loving this Rustic Wall Organizer ($100-$200) from Pottery Barn. I think my favorite pieces from the collection are the Sliding Pinboard/ Chalkboard ($130) and Activity Center ($150). Sometimes wall-mounted organization can look a little industrial or streamlined, but there's something effortless and relaxed about these burlap-covered options.
The beauty of burlap is that it's no longer just about an old seed bag repurposed into a tote bag. I love these new updated looks to these pieces. There's true elegance and rustic chic incorporated into each of these items. Have you jumped on the burlap bandwagon? Any ideas for how to incorporate the look into your home?
