I admire those who have the patience to do their laundry outdoors with clothespins hanging in the backyard. Spoiled by washing machines and stain sticks, I can hardly handle rubbing out a stained shirt in my kitchen sink. But, I love the look of clothespins. From wedding décor to hanging Christmas cards, there are countless uses for the household supplies.
On a recent shopping venture at Anthropologie, I spotted a unique use for the little clippers. Hanging from the ceiling were rows upon rows of twine with hundreds of clothespins attached. Half had a bit of blue painted on their tip with the remaining accented red. While I liked them just as they were in their oceanic waves, my mind started reeling with the possibilities of what one could hang from them. Got any ideas?
