Fun Way to Use a Gardening Sink in the Bathroom

Cool Idea: From Workbench to Washroom

Repurposed materials make me happy. Items from yesteryear that are too cute to be condemned to the basement or garage can easily be turned into something charming and practical, like this trés chic washroom stand.

Tracked down at Mill Valley's Maison Rêve, the age-worn gardening workbench boasts character with rust-edged shelves and distressed paint on the bottom tray. Perhaps not needed in a backyard with rakes and seeds, this old thing found new life in one simple step. Instead of a basin, the piece of furniture has a mirror cut to size and acts as a table where it holds towels, soaps, and other sundry bath items. It adds new perspective, extra light, and creativity to an unsuspecting room. I just wish I had space for it in my own home.
