When it comes to holiday decorating, it's time to stray from the typical red and green decor. That's exactly what designer Eddie Ross did when he created this lovely, fresh tablescape that takes a definite departure from the usual Christmas colors.
Better yet, this tablescape is very affordable. Sourcing items from Cindy Crawford's collection for JC Penney, as well as West Elm, Crate and Barrel, and local garden stores, Eddie mixed these pieces with textiles he sewed himself and vintage pieces he already owned. The result is pretty spectacular.
To get a similar look, Eddie encourages us to "just think outside the box. One of the things I feel that is really unique about this table is the mix of new and old. But really, even new pieces are the antiques of the future. You know? It’s like the Fire King that’s very affordable in the '30s, '40s, and '50s are now collector items. The Cindy Crawford items are very inexpensive but will be collector’s items in the future."
