Kim Freeman spent years producing editorial content of shelter magazines including House Beautiful and Country Living, before launching her interior design firm, freemandesigngroup. And although she spent 10 years in France as a creative consultant and editor for La Maison de Marie Claire, her heart was always stateside. Specifically, it could be found in a Westchester County home, about 45 minutes north of New York City, that her parents designed and built nearly 50 years ago. Dressing the home in French textiles, antiques, and a soothing palette, this home has been re-envisioned as a getaway and sanctuary for Freeman. Take a tour, and then check out Kim's home, as well as those of four other designers, in the Winter 2011 issue of Westchester Home Magazine.
