I hate the way clothes feel and smell that are line dried. Otherwise, I am (gag) "green." You can take my dryer from my cold dead hands. The washer and dryer liberated women, damn it.

I am always breaking HOA rules by hanging clothes out to dry on my deck!

I line dry our clothes whenever possible. During the spring, summer & early fall, I only machine dry one load per week and that's towels. I've also started purchasing an eco-friendly, biodegradable laundry detergent that only costs a few cents more per load.

I live in an apt and semi-dry stuff. I don't have many options on the apt dryers so monitor the dryer and take the lighter things out half way, and drape them all over my apt! It takes more effort and the W/D is just down the hall but I hate the wear & tear of the dryer. It's a bit time consuming but does save money and whole apt smells so fresh!

I do wish we had a clothing line to dry our stuff on (although we live in apartment so that wouldn't work!). My parents had one and I always liked using it.

I don't use the dryer. I also wear clothing more than twice. I feel pretty good about my choices but still need to improve. Like the suggestions for greener detergents and cleansers.

I usually re-use dryer sheets for static cling or rub it on some clothes that need a little freshen but not to be washed.
