How Often Do You Vacuum?

Lord knows I don't like vacuuming, but the only thing worse than sucking up dirt is the actual dirt itself. I don't quite understand how bits and pieces gather so quickly or randomly around my carpeted areas but they do. Dust bunnies, flakes of food, and mud from outdoors all seem to stare at me until I pull out the old vacuum and do something about it. Besides, it seems a freshly suctioned rug makes the whole home appear fresh and clean, which is why I do it a few times a week. It's an addiction that has thankfully gotten easier since the Roomba came along to share the responsibility!

So tell me, how often do you vacuum?

I used to vacuum everyday, now I'm down to every other day. I recently moved to a bigger house, hard to keep up with the cleaning. I have a dog who sheds and terrible allergies, so vacuuming frequently is a must. I also steam clean as needed.

It's basically the first think I do every morning! We have a dog that's losing hair like crazy. And my baby is just starting to crawl...bad combination!

I don't, as we have hardwood and ceramic floors. I'm allergic to carpet, and fabric upholstery.I sweep and clean the hard floors every week. No vacuum.

I'm very finnicky about seeing dust bunnies, dirt and whatever the cat brought back on our carpets, so I cannot rest until I pull out the vacuum and get rid of it. Yes, it's amazing how all these things seemingly come out of nowhere! I end up vacuuming at least three times a week.

every other week... It's just me in a small apartment and I'm rarely home. If I'm having visitors I always clean it like crazy, though.

I thought i was bad for a least twice a week. But once a month. I could never get away with that. My floor would be filthy. I have a toddler.

Ugh I hate vacuuming. I do sweep the house a lot of times per week, though.

Usually every other day. All the floors are wood and the dog hair forms tumbleweeds that blow from room to room if I don't.

I vaccuum the hard floors a couple times a week depending on if I'm cooking or people are over (ie: depending on how many crumbs there are!) because it's more noticeable and bothers me, but for the carpets upstairs and on the stairs, like every 3-4 weeks maybe...only when people are coming to visit, which is sort of bad I guess. But they don't show dirt and we don't have any pets or children. The spare rooms rarely get used, so why bother.

When I remember to vacuum. It could be as much as once a week or once every two months. XD
