How to Upcycle an Old Light Fixture

A Dated Light Fixture Is Twice Reincarnated

Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member h2urHome from the Su Casa group:

I'm not one to give up. So when I bought one of those gold light fixtures from the Goodwill and failed at my first project, I tried again! Of course, it took me four months to figure something new out . . .
The before (left) and the not so good after (right: it just looks like a black outdated light fixture!).

First, I simply took the fixture apart and used the dome to cover some special flowers I have.

For the second project, I just placed a lampshade over the insides of the old fixture to come up with a new, updated light fixture!

If you'd like to read more about this project, please feel free to head on over to my blog!
