I love to use traditional home accents in nontraditional places, as do many interior designers. Based on that concept, I'm introducing a new Casa feature called How Would You . . . that asks you to think outside the home-decorating box and find alternate uses for traditional home accents and furniture pieces.
How would rework these cast-iron greyhound andirons so they served a different decorating or practical function in your home? Andirons are horizontal iron bars upon which logs are laid for burning in an open fireplace. However, I'd like to know how you could see these employed in an alternate use in your home.
Leave a comment below and let me know where you'd put these art deco-era andirons into your home.
