My table wont be used this Thanksgiving, as we're heading out to Mom's for the big feast, but it's still decoreated nice! It's a dark wood table with a light tan table runner. We just bought a silverware caddy thingy from Southern Home, and we've put it in the middle of the table and put fall hydrandeas (sp?) in each glass jar thing and we have two white ceramic turkeys that are a little bit smaller arranged next to them. Behind all of that is a big glass urn with iron on it and a big pumpkin candle sits in there. I love decorating for fall!

I'm using most of the above except the pine cones and the leaves...

We always have a yardful of gorgeous leaves around this time, and it seems like a shame to let them go to waste. I usually go out and gather some of the more brilliant ones and scatter them down the center of the table like a runner, and then cluster a few candles in the center trailing a little down either side. It's always a hit!

nothing too elaborate - just my table cloth and my holiday dishes. (I love using them and I wait all year for Thanksgiving to start using them, and we use only holiday dishes until New Year's Day; I'm usually tired of them by then and pack them back up until the next Thanksgiving!)
