Juniper Books Custom Libraries and Custom Library Collections

Would You Want a Custom Library?

Recently featured in The New York Times, Boulder, CO-based company Juniper Books creates handpicked book collections for home libraries. Taking into consideration items such as color, binding art, and book size, owner Thatcher Wine has assembled incredible collections for upscale homes, interior designers, set designers, businesses, and yachts.
Would you want to coordinate your library in a similar way? I know how controversial arranging a book collection by color can be, so what do you think about going this extra step and actually arranging them by theme or art?

I think it would look fantastic! I once read something similar to this in a book called Against Nature (sometimes translated as Against the Grain) by Joris-Karl Huysmans. The protagonist has all his favorite books printed personally and bound in leathers which he hand picked. It sounded absolutely beautiful, and like a fantastic waste of money lolI really recommend reading that book if you're interested in anything that's beautiful - houses, flowers, spirits, music, perfumes etc. It's fascinating. It's actually rumored to be the "little yellow book", which people talk about in Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray.
