I'm surprised people are acting favorably to the IKEA madness campaign, since it seems rather offensive with regards to mental illness and mental health. I was surprised IKEA continues to run with it.Concerning the hoarding issue, my mom has unfortunately been a victim, but the problem I currently face is her now being disabled and on her death bed, so I need to deal with all her decades of accumulations. Add to that her inability to let anything go, mixed with anger resulting from steroidal influences used to keep her alive, I also get the "do you realize how valuable that is?!?!" spiel, and it's getting really old. She also feels so many things with come in handy, like empty containers, used plastic bags, etc, so much so that it becomes suffocating...Ok, sorry for my mini rants here. If you feel like viewing the first floor of my situation (there's a full basement and full upstairs I have yet to get fully photographed) I have them here on TeamSugar in my photos.PS--I love the idea of the guerrilla gardening, and I saw a comment about it being admirable that these aren't stolen. Even in the friendly city of Burlington, VT, someone had their plants dug up and stolen from their tiny front garden, along with some planters on their front porch steps, so I really hope these can last and make everyone happy.Guess I've got a real Debby Downer of a post here...sorry...

That poor compulsive hoarder. Just looking at all that stuff and dust makes me feel itchy and like cleaning out a few closets. It also made my mom's pyrex collection look completely sane.
