Love It or Hate It? Pitchfork Coatstand

This German-designed coatstand recently caught my eye, but since I couldn't read the copy, I turned to my German husband to translate the text:

Since David O. doesn't just trump us with his stool made of inflatable swimming wings, here we have another design from the young designer from Cologne. He thinks it would be a waste to just place sod shovels (pitchforks) in the garden. From the garden implement, he has constructed an impressive-looking coatrack; the pitchfork tips are of course blunted so as to prevent damage to clothing. Great idea!

Cool idea, but not attractive. Maybe for someone in the mid-west.

I think it could be cute and appropriate in the right house: farmhouse, shabby chic restored barn.. but it wouldn't look right in my house.
