Sometimes a garden, such as the manicured hedges at the park of the Versailles castle in Versailles, France, can look even more charming when it's covered with a thin frosting of snow. Everything is more magical with snow on it!! I can't think of anything that doesn't look pretty with snow on it - even some of the most boring objects look good with snow on them. What I find beautiful about a snowy garden is the crisp white, or slightly blue tinted blanket covering the flora and fauna; the peacefulness and muted sounds of life within. The imagery of powdered sugar dusted over mounds of gingerbread hued rocks. Or frosting spread on a cakelike bench. Yep I love the magic of a snowy garden. :-)
