Cute ideas, ladies! I agree with Doc, I like combining colors that I don't usually know how to use together!

I'd maybe put it in a frame like this http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_4/602-8415223-5631850?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000GASF92 or use a projector and trace elements of the design on a canvas and make my own painting. Another option would be to have a feature wall be that soft blue from the card. I'd use a projector and trace elements of the pattern on the wall and take 1 shade darker of the soft blue and make a distressed, stamped pattern. The size and repetition would depend on what other objects were on the wall. I'm seeing an element or two a bit larger coming up from behind a beautiful chocolate sofa and some fun lime, blue and soft white accent pillows. Trust me, it looks really great in my mind! LOL

I would make a mountable tack board with the following supplies, then put pictures of people I love off center on the notecards, tack them up...and rotate pictures every month or so, and notecards too even, to keep it fun!

Great ideas guys! A very simple way to include it a room is to put in a nice frame. :)

How to use in a room?... Why don't you paint a berber. Floral stencils abound at almost any craft or home improvement store and are quite inexpensive. Lace works well as a stencil also. Choose a white/natural berber rug of chosen dimensions. Pick up some of your favorite stenicls, laces, etc and some acrylic or latex paint paints in your choice of colors. Using these cards to guide your ideas roll over your berber area rug with your base color - in this case the olive. Let some of the original carpet show through in spots and go over it again in others. Let it dry. Using your second color, in this case, the light blue, coat your roller sparingly. Roll it off on a piece of cardboard so you will be able to acheive a sort of dry-brush effect. Let it dry. Layout your chosen stencils, laces, etc to create a composition that you like. Plan your colors and start stippling. And there you have it: Your very own piece of revitalized retro, hand-crafted and you-nique for your very own.
