The 9 Most Iconic Full House Sets
Full House was a central part of our childhood, so we were beyond thrilled to hear that the series is making a comeback with a 13-episode reboot on Netflix called Fuller House. Given the name, we assume that this show will be even more family packed than the original — but will the set be as awesome? Take a walk down memory lane with us as we review the most iconic elements of the Full House set ahead, without which the show just wouldn't have been the same.
Uncle Jesse's Room
He may have a jukebox, Elvis paraphernalia, and leopard bedding, but Uncle Jesse proved he was more than a swinging bachelor when he elected to leave the sentimental pink-bunny stencils on the walls of what was formerly Stephanie's room. Have mercy!
The Family Sofa
From the pilot to the finale, this blue-and-white living room staple was the setting for the resolution of nearly every major Tanner family problem. It's hard to find a family member who didn't have a learning moment on this plaid sofa!
The House Exterior
The iconic Victorian looks somewhat different today (although John Stamos hasn't aged a bit), but this San Francisco "painted lady" will forever be associated with Full House.
D.J. and Stephanie's Childhood Bedroom
Between their collection of tween wall posters, primary-color decor, and that geometric wallpaper border, the two eldest Tanner sisters made sharing a room look supremely hip. If only Uncle Joey was always doing something goofy and embarrassing . . .
The Red Front Doors
You never knew who was going to walk through those red double doors — D.J.'s new boyfriend, Danny's zoologist sister with her pet chimpanzee, Steve Urkel (in a very special crossover episode), or even The Beach Boys.
D.J.'s Teenage Room
After swapping rooms with Michelle, a mature D.J. transformed the little girl's room into a cool, sophisticated hangout, perfect for after-school chats with her BFF Kimmy and BF Steve (swoon).
Stephanie's Temporary Bathroom Bedroom
Admit it, when a displaced-feeling Stephanie decided to move into the Tanner family's bathroom, you also thought about moving your bed to the tub. Fortunately for the Tanners' hygiene habits, Stephanie's move was short-lived.
The Kitchen Table
Whether eating breakfast before school, having a serious family discussion, or (more frequently) being interrupted by Kimmy Gibbler, there was no issue that couldn't be solved around this oak dining room table.
Stephanie and Michelle's New Room
After D.J. and Michelle swapped rooms, it was time to give the tired double bedroom Stephanie and Michelle now shared a much needed makeover. Enter Danny's girlfriend's mother, an interior decorator, who gives the sisters' bedroom a new look, featuring a pastel overhaul and an epic bunny wallpaper border.
